The future of former 450SX champion Jason Anderson has been confirmed, signing with Monster Energy Kawasaki for the 2022 season.

Anderson will partner Adam Cianciarulo riding the factory KX450 from next year after his exit from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna was made official yesterday.

“It’s great to join the Monster Energy Kawasaki race team for 2022,” said Anderson, who was part of Kawasaki Team Green in his amateur career. “I’m ready to start working with the team to have a successful run right out of the gate when we go racing in January.

“The bike is proven, and the many accolades of the team speak volumes to what we can achieve together. I’m looking forward to the good times ahead.”

The opportunity will rejuvenate Anderson leading into Anaheim 1, replacing Yamaha-bound Eli Tomac in a bid to regain the Monster Energy Supercross crown he captured in 2018. He’ll also contest the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series.

In addition, Monster Energy Kawasaki will also welcome Broc Tickle – former 250SX West champion with Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki – as the official test rider for 2022.
