With the annual Motocross of Nations (MXoN) race set to take place in less than a month’s time, Chase Sexton says he’s ‘all in’ should a call come his way to join Team USA.

While the Team Honda HRC rider has yet to represent his country in the famed event, he is ready for the chance to head to Italy should it come this year Currently fourth overall in points.

The second-year premier class rider addressed his desire to compete at MXON following his fourth-place finish at Budds Creek.

“Like I’ve said multiple times, it’s a dream for me to go race for my country and represent the USA,” Sexton explained. “Last year they didn’t have it and I feel like this year it’s obviously a good opportunity if I get picked to go.”

“So yeah, I’m all in. I’ll definitely give it my best effort and go out there and leave it all on the track if I get the chance to.”

It remains to be seen if Team Honda HRC’s outfit in the US will send their only rider still open to lining up. Sexton’s teammate Ken Roczen has opted to out of Team Germany’s roster and the Lawrence brothers are not planning to ride for Team Australia.

An announcement is expected at Fox Raceway on Team USA’s three-man team for the event. Originally planned for Budds Creek, it was pushed as the pandemic situation continues to threaten the event.
