Max Anstie and the Twisted Tea HEP Motorsports Suzuki team are making progress as the Pro Motocross season wears on, taking their first top 10 of the season at Unadilla.

After notching five top 10’s last season in his first season of 450MX in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, Anstie came into the 2021 championship with high expectations.

While it hasn’t been the season he was hoping for, Anstie found the top 10 in round eight, scoring 8-9 in the motos and taking eighth overall at Unadilla.

“We ended up eighth overall, so we’re making progress,” Anstie explained. “The team has done a great job in the last few weeks’ break to make some positive steps with the bike set-up, and it definitely was nice to be in the race.

The series now heads to Budds Creek for round nine, a place where Anstie took a top 10 finish in the opening moto in 2010 during his 250MX campaign, where he’ll look to get out of the gate and find the front for another top 10 overall.

“I’ve got to get out of the gate faster this next weekend in Budds Creek and we’ll be back at the sharp end with the guys,” he continued. “We’ve definitely made progress so I’m happy.”
