All four motos from this Saturday’s Lucas Oil Pro Motocross round at Washougal will be broadcast live on MAVTV, MX Sports Pro Racing has confirmed.

It will serve as a milestone moment in the sport’s broadcast history, as all four motos featuring the 450 Class and 250 Class will be showcased live on one network for the first time.

MAVTV currently has the exclusive live rights to the opening moto of each of the 12 rounds of the championship, however, scheduling conflicts surrounding the Tokyo Olympics meant a solution needed to be found for the collective benefit of the sport.

Following discussions, an agreement was made between broadcast executives at NBC, Lucas Oil and MAVTV to provide an exclusive chance to showcase a complete Pro Motocross round on a single network this weekend.

“This is not only a tremendous opportunity for MAVTV Motorsports Network to expand its partnership with the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, it’s also a significant moment in broadcast coverage of American motocross,”  television director of Lucas Oil Products, Scott McLemore explained.

“It’s a testament to a long and prosperous partnership with NBC Sports and their commitment to give the fans of motocross the racing they’re passionate about. This opportunity would not have been possible without NBC’s support, recognizing that there was a unique opportunity to do something special for the viewing audience.”

Coverage of the Washougal national will begin at 1:00pm PT/4:00pm ET on MAVTV with the opening motos of each class, before transitioning directly into the second and deciding set of motos for each division.

NBC Sports Network will provide a tape-delayed broadcast of the second motos of both the 250 Class and 450 Class on Sunday, 8 August, beginning at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

In addition, all the action from Washougal can also be streamed live on Peacock. Viewing from any smart TV, media player or mobile device will begin at 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET, with exclusive coverage of qualifying for both the 250 Class and 450 Class.
