After capturing both 2021 Monster Energy Supercross Championships in the 250SX class, Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha has announced 250 team manager Wil Hahn’s departure after four years, with Seth Rarick set to fill the position.

Hahn spent four years in a management role with the team, starting in 2017, and was part of countless race wins and seven championships in total.

While it’s not confirmed, Hahn has been linked to working with the TLD Red Bull GasGas team moving forward. The role however is rumored to not be a manager position.

Incoming manager Rarick joins the team having most recently worked alongside Aldon Baker at the Bakers Factory, working with some of the top riders in the sport.

This isn’t the first time working with Star Racing for Rarick, he returns to the team having previously worked as an assistant trainer to the team’s trainer Gareth Swanepoel.

“I have enjoyed working with Wil Hahn for the past four seasons and will miss having him around,” said Jeremy Coker, 450 Team Manager, Star Racing. “I’m glad to have Seth [Rarick] back with the program and look forward to helping him grow within the program.

“He will assist me in the management of this amazing program and hopefully continue our powerhouse championship-winning path.”

The team will now focus on the upcoming Lucas Oil Pro Motocross round at RedBud, set for 3 July in Buchanan, Michigan.
