MX Sports Pro Racing has announced that a limited number of fans will be permitted to return to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross paddock, beginning at RedBud, with the purchase of a VIP ticket.

While every round so far this season has seen crowds at full capacity, spectators have yet to be allowed inside the pits at the races for their chance to see their favorite riders and bikes up close.

In their ongoing process to remove all fan restrictions, MX Sports has announced that VIP ticket holders will now be allowed access to the paddock from 9am-12pm on race day in their latest phase of reopening.

While fans will return to the paddock, restrictions from riders and team pit areas will still be in place, with posters made available although no rider autograph signings scheduled.

“We recognize our fans are extremely eager to get back to a sense of normalcy at the races, which has been made very evident by the massive crowds on hand for the first three rounds of the season,” said Davey Coombs, President of MX Sports Pro Racing. However, we have to stress the importance of a communal approach to our ongoing reopening process.

“We respect the needs of every individual entity that contributes to the overall success of this championship and are continuously striving for a level of compromise that appeases everyone.

“We’re excited to open the pits to our VIP guests and look forward to announcing additional reopening phases in the near future.”

VIP ticket options are now available for all nine rounds that remain on the schedule, however, ticket quantity is limited and they are expected to sell out.
