Additional Indianapolis round added to 2021 Supercross schedule

Another triple-header announced in opening stages of series.

Indianapolis will host an additional round of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross championship, Feld Motor Sports announcing an adjusted schedule as planning to map out next year’s series continues.

Lucas Oil Stadium will now host a trio of races as rounds four and five will take place on Saturday, 30 January, and Tuesday, 2 February, as originally planned, followed by round six on Saturday, 6 February.

The series will resume on Saturday, 20 February at State Farm Stadium in Glendale with three-straight rounds in Arizona as originally scheduled, followed by Daytona, Florida, on Saturday, 6 March, and then the Arlington, Texas, rounds from Saturday, 13 March, at AT&T Stadium. The season finale will still take place at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

Three stops of the 17-round championship – rounds 14, 15 and 16 – will be announced at a later date, as will the remaining East/West 250SX races, the Showdown and Triple Crown events. It’s scheduled to commence on Saturday, 16 January, in Houston, Texas.

Tickets for the first six rounds in Houston and Indianapolis will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, 8 December. Preferred customers can sign up in advance for early access to purchase tickets a week prior, starting Tuesday, 1 December, by visiting the Supercross Live website.
