The 2021 Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross rider numbers have officially been released, listing the top 100 in the sport for next season.

There has been little change at the top, with new outdoor champions Zach Osborne and Dylan Ferrandis opting to retain their existing career numbers rather than going into single digits.

As the national champions, Osborne and Ferrandis could have chosen either five or eight, which are the only two single digit numbers currently available. Osborne previously had the opportunity to choose a single digit after winning 250MX in 2017 also.

Both Osborne (450MX) and Eli Tomac (450SX) will have the opportunity to wear number one after winning their respective championships, however, Ferrandis and Sexton have each now transitioned into the premier class full-time after earning this year’s 250 titles.

Much of the top 30 had already been claimed in terms of career numbers and no rider selected a new career number for 2021. Instead, the lowest of the new numbers will be Jett Lawrence with 18 after he opted not to take 13. Brandon Hartranft (28), Christian Craig (29) and Jo Shimoda (30) were next in line.
