The Penrite Honda Racing team has drafted in Buddy Antunez as rider development coach to work with Mitchell Oldenburg and Luke Clout.

Antunez was part of the JGRMX team for the past two seasons, however the former professional racer is now paired with the Australian team to assist in its transition to the US.

“You need to consider how quickly this has come together,” Antunez said following Glendale.

“The team has already achieved two top three heat race finishes and six top 10 overalls. There is some real potential in both riders and I am excited to get to work.”

Arizona’s Triple Crown round on the weekend resulted in Oldenburg finishing sixth and Clout 10th in 250SX West, the duo sitting eighth and ninth in the standings following the opening four rounds.
