Maiden race win in sight for TLD KTM's Hartranft

250SX West contender willing to take things step by step.

Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM’s Brandon Hartranft believes a maiden 250SX West main event victory is in sight after a pair of podiums have instilled confidence in the 21-year-old.

Hartranft has been highly-impressive in his first three appearances with the factory-backed KTM squad, finishing third at both St. Louis and Anaheim 2.

As Monster Energy Supercross heads to Glendale for the first Triple Crown of the year, and the New Jersey native is hungry step atop the podium, although is willing to take it step by step to get there.

“It feels just as good [to get on the podium] as last weekend, I am so happy,” said Hartranft. “I’m starting to believe in myself a lot more.

“I definitely want to win – that’s the main goal – but I’m just going to take it step by step and make the weeks count.”

Hartranft is currently ranked third in the 250SX West championship standings.
