Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki press release:

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner is preparing this week to tackle the first of three Triple Crown races this season, two of which his region will compete in (Phoenix and Las Vegas). Fans at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium will be treated to three main events, a format that is more about consistency.

Forkner is no stranger to winning the Triple Crown – a three-race format. He has won a Triple Crown race in 2018 at Atlanta, and added another in 2019 at the Detroit stop. He’s hoping the knowledge he’s gained from those wins will help lead him to another victory this weekend.

There will continue to be one rider under the tent this weekend with Forkner’s teammate Cameron McAdoo still not 100 percent recovered from injuries he sustained during practice in St. Louis. He’s taking things week-to-week and will hopefully be able to line up soon.

“When supercross first introduced the Triple Crown format, it was a learning experience for everyone. But now we have a few wins under our belt and a good game plan coming in to make sure we’re able to compete for the win. We know Austin can do it and he’s definitely looking for redemption.”
