Aim for Wilson to keep building two rounds into season

So far, so good for returning Rockstar Energy Husqvarna star.

Improvements were made by Dean Wilson in St. Louis as he rides himself into race-fitness during the opening rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross season.

Wilson was a late inclusion for the start of the 2020 series after a swift recovery from a serious hip injury suffered at the Monster Energy Cup last year.

The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider only began riding again in mid-December and has finished 13th in the 450SX main event at both Anaheim 1 and St. Louis.

“Tonight was a small improvement for me,” Wilson said. “I had a good start and ran in the top 10 for a few laps, but I’m just not prepared to be at that point. I just have to keep working and building from here.”

Currently ranked 14th in the point-standings following two of 17 races, the target for Wilson in these early rounds is to continue to gain fitness and seat-time aboard the factory FC 450 Rockstar Edition.
